Description
SKF’s LGEV Series (notably LGEV 2) is an extremely high‑viscosity bearing grease fortified with molybdenum disulphide and graphite, designed for very high loads, slow speeds, and severe vibration. It uses a lithium–calcium thickener and a very high‑viscosity mineral oil, giving it exceptional protection against microslip, wear, and corrosion, even in harsh, wet, or shock‑loaded environments. Typical applications include trunnion bearings, rotary kilns, dryers, bucket wheel excavators, slewing rings, crushers, and high‑pressure roller mills.
